The meeting will be held at
the Cedar hotel. It is known as the Hotel of Bulgarian
Academy of Sciences as well.

Two working rooms with Internet connection are available.
¨ The Institute of Computer and
Communication Systems (ICCS) arranged 25 single rooms for 3 nights for the
participants at the "Cedar" hotel.
¨ The price for a person per night is 75 Euro. It includes full board
(room, breakfast, lunch, dinner) .
¨ For accompanying persons the full board is 25 Euro per day.
ICCS would like to ask the partners about the duration of their stay in Sofia
to change the needed rooms if necessary. If you inform us about your flights we
shall help you for the communication between the airport and the
"Cedar" hotel.

by Bus
84 to the “Pliska” hotel (This is a big transport centre). You should pass
through the “Pliska” hotel and continue on street “Kosta Lulchev” 3-4
crossroads. Then turn to the right and ask about the hotel or the Stadium
“Academic”. The “Cedar” hotel is about
50 meters north from the stadium. From “Pliska” to “Cedar” is 10 minutes
walking.

By Bus
84 to tram No 20 (two stops from the Airport). You should travel 4 stops by
tram 20 and get off at “Zavod Elektronika” (Plant “Elektronika”). You have to
cross the tram line and return back and South about 200 meters.
You need an addition ticket for your luggage (1 ticket for every large
bag/suitcase)

Please inform ICCS about your arrival
in Sofia till the end of May.
Payment
ICCS will pay in advance. During the meeting the Financial Department of
ICCS will ask the partners to pay their stay, providing the appropriate
documents/receipts.
The payment
could be done as a Bank transfer and/or in cash in EURO or Bulgarian
national currency - leva. Both manners and currencies are accepted.

to the Town-Museum Koprivshtiza - about
100 km East from Sofia (in the
Sredna Gora Mountain).

Note: The
excursion is organized by ICCS. The
travel and museums will be covered by ICCS.
You
will probably find the centre of Sofia more accessible by tram, bus, or trolley
bus than by car due to the shortage of parking space. Public transport runs
from 5am till midnight for buses and trolley buses and till 1am for trams.
Tickets are for single trip and are sold at kiosks at the major stops, at
newsstands or in driver's cabin. You have to punch them inside the vehicle. If
you transfer from one vehicle to another you must use another ticket. Tickets
are inspected at random by conductor.
Longer-term tickets for 1, 5, 10 days are
recommended when more travel is expected.
